UPDATESOverview

October 2026 release notes

October brings Windows remote actions through Link, network discovery triage in Inventory, and transcribed WhatsApp voice notes in Tickets. The Wiki gained attachments and protection against older edits, Inventory now records one purchase for many assets, and ticket approvals get a shareable record for Finance. You can also invite people from a spreadsheet, sign in with a link, and install Vault Extension on Firefox and Safari. In the mobile app, Inbox, Trabalho (Work), Wiki, and Vault are in the main navigation.

October highlights

Availability

Available features depend on your plan, permissions, and enabled modules. Requirements for each group are listed below.

Muse and Vault. Conversation improvements require Muse access. Search and the updated credential layout arrive with the Vault Extension update. To ignore password warnings, your company must enable password health in Settings › Vault. Muse MCP write access requires Muse and an MCP client, such as ChatGPT. Reconnect the client to choose this access on the authorization screen. Vault Extension for Firefox and Safari is installed from each browser's store. Google Authenticator import uses Vault in the mobile app. To offer write access to Claude, disconnect and reconnect the client; each write still requires a grant approved in the browser. Diagnose with Muse requires Muse access and an available model. Remote actions already run are part of the diagnosis only when the conversation has a current two-factor verification. On a ticket's assets, the button appears for technicians with Inventory access.

Closure and Status. Ticket automation requires Status and Closure. An admin chooses which options to enable on each monitor: opening tickets during outages and completing them when service recovers. PDF export requires Closure dashboard access. Scheduling and appointments require Closure and Tasks. Scheduled tickets do not yet support attachments. Asset suggestions require Closure and Inventory and include assets linked to Link devices the requester is responsible for. Account language is used in Closure AI triage where that feature is enabled. Voice note transcription applies to the Tickets WhatsApp channel. The approval record requires Tickets approvals and can be shared only with internal members, who sign in with their own account. New ticket notices are off by default.

Forge and Inbox. The In review status and reading designs in Inbox require Forge Designs. Releases, issue grouping, blocked filters, and names in cycle activity require access to the corresponding Forge features. Sentry project defaults require the Sentry integration. The In releases option and recording without notes are part of the Releases page; recording without notes is for Projects admins and managers. Remembered filters and the quick assignee picker apply to advanced filter mode.

Movitera Link. Sessions with multiple technicians, ratings, and connection quality improvements require Movitera Link. Antivirus and Defender data require an updated Link agent on Windows. The app-closed notice depends on the service reporting its status separately from the app. Remote actions also require an updated Windows agent. An admin must enable them in Settings › Link › Remote actions and allow devices. A team admin must grant the script operator role. Each action requires a recent two-factor authentication check. Reading memory, CPU, and disk data through Muse or an MCP client requires Link and access to Muse or the MCP client. Available-memory readings require an updated agent. Inventory managers can turn on Require start with system; turning the requirement off after it is saved also requires the remote operator role. Automatic app reopening, silent updates, and administrator prompts in remote sessions require Link installed with the MSI installer on Windows, on the latest version. The Microsoft Store version does not include the Windows service. Collecting logs requires the remote operator role and Link 0.29 or later. The GravityZone and Acronis integrations are rolling out gradually, and a team admin connects each one. Devices and connection codes by customer require an MSP team, and assigning customers requires being an Inventory manager.

Inventory and Wiki. Filters, saved views, and CSV export require Inventory. The device list also requires Movitera Link. Supplier and customer filters appear only for people with access to Suppliers or MSP customers. Each export supports up to 50,000 rows. Wiki protection against outdated versions applies to all editors. Anyone who can edit a page can also access Recent changes. Network discovery requires Inventory and Movitera Link, and Accept the network as it is is for managers. Acquisitions are available to internal Inventory users, and managers can make changes. Attaching and deleting files on the Wiki requires edit permission on the page.

Access and invites. A sign-in link does not replace two-factor authentication. Spreadsheet invites require permission to invite members, each spreadsheet takes up to 100 people, and each seat is added to the subscription when the person accepts the invite. The customer company appears only on MSP teams, and invites for a customer use the Free seat. You cannot leave a personal workspace.

Mobile app. Navigation changes, ticket and issue pages, asset suggestions, Vault features, task reminders, and the October 6-25 updates are in the current Movitera release in the app stores. Creating issues in the app requires a Projects role that can create issues. Autenticador codes need an internet connection.

October 19-25, 2026

Three weeks of highlightsSound on
  • Board filters: in advanced filter mode, the Tickets and Projects boards remember, in this browser, the last view and filter you used in each team. A shared filter link still takes priority. On Projects issues, the photos next to the search box filter by assignee in one click. Your photo comes first, followed by up to four people, and everyone else is in the +N list.
  • Vault Extension on Firefox and Safari: the extension is now available for Firefox and Safari as well as Chrome, with the same features in all three browsers. In Safari, connecting to Movitera opens the authorization page in a tab that closes when you finish.
  • Google Authenticator in the app: import accounts exported from Google Authenticator into Vault. Scan the export QR code, including exports with several parts, review the list, and choose which accounts to import.
  • Claude and other MCP clients: when you connect Claude, the authorization screen now offers write access as well as read access. With an active write grant for the Wiki, MCP clients can publish pages, including pending changes to pages that are already published.

October 12-18, 2026

  • Sign in with a link: on the sign-in screen, use Email me a sign-in link and open the link that arrives in your inbox. If you open the link on another device, confirm it with the code shown in the browser that made the request. Two-factor authentication still applies. If you have a passkey and your device confirms it supports it, the verification prompt appears as soon as the two-factor dialog opens. If the device is slow to answer, use the passkey button.
  • Invites from a spreadsheet: in Settings › Members, use Import spreadsheet to invite people from an .xlsx or .csv file with names and emails. Before sending, review each row, with warnings for an invalid email, a missing name, a repeated row, someone who is already a member, or an invite already pending. Choose the seat type and groups for everyone at once. At the end, see how many invites were sent, which were created but whose email failed, so you can resend them from the list, and which rows were refused, with the reason.
  • Invites for MSP customers: choose the customer company when you invite someone, on a single invite or for the whole spreadsheet. The person joins as a member of that company, and pending invites show the chosen company.
  • Windows administrator prompts: in attended remote sessions with full control, the technician sees and operates administrator permission prompts (UAC) without reopening the session. After the prompt, video returns to normal quality.
  • Screen capture and connection: Link now streams the screen of older Windows PCs that used to show only a colored pattern. When capture fails, the console says so and suggests the fix for the device's system, such as the Screen Recording permission on macOS. Remote sessions can also connect over TCP and TLS on networks that block UDP.
  • Agent logs: in the device History tab, remote operators collect Link logs from the last 1, 6, 24, or 72 hours without asking the user for the file. Logs arrive with sensitive data hidden and can be read on screen or downloaded. When a remote session ends, the screen says why it ended. The device list shows whether Link was installed with the MSI installer or from the Microsoft Store, with a filter.
  • Silent Link updates: on Windows with the MSI installer, the Link service installs new versions without asking the user for an administrator password. Computers on Link 0.29.0 or earlier still ask for one last administrator approval to reach this version.
  • Wiki attachments: every page gets an Attachments list, with the same file types as tickets, in-page preview, and zip download. When you drag a file into the text, it appears where you dropped it, with its icon and name, and is also added to the list. Images stay in the text. The list does not appear on the page's public version.
  • Image viewer: click an image on a Wiki page, in an issue, initiative, or design description, or in a Projects message to open it enlarged, with zoom and arrows to the other images in the text. In editors, use the Open image button in the corner of the image.
  • Inventory acquisitions: record a purchase once, with items, quantities, amounts, and documents, and link it to every asset it covers, such as an invoice for 30 computers. Link existing assets in bulk or register the purchased assets with the import wizard, with date, unit cost, and currency already filled in. Each asset's details show the linked purchase. Costs already recorded on assets do not change.
  • Approval record: every completed approval in Tickets gets a record with the approved request, the amount, the requester, and each approver, with the date, time, and notes of each decision. In the ticket timeline, the approval opens the record. Technicians can share it with internal members, such as Finance, who see only the record, without the ticket conversation or attachments.
  • New ticket notices: technicians can turn on New tickets (technicians) in their notification preferences to get a notice in the app, by email, and by push for every new ticket in the teams they work in. Tickets you opened, are assigned to, or follow do not trigger a repeated notice.
  • AI models: the catalog gained new models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and xAI. The model tables compare coding with Terminal-Bench 4.0 and overall capability with the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index. Each score opens its details, with the source, version, and date.
  • Notifications in the mobile app: in Ajustes, the Notificações section shows whether push notifications are on and helps you turn them on. This release also fixes how the phone registers for push notifications. If you were not getting notices on your phone, update the app.

October 6-11, 2026

  • Network discovery in Inventory: the page is now a triage workflow. The summary shows how many devices are waiting for review and suggests next steps in What to do now. Group by manufacturer, type, or network and mark a whole group as known, register it as assets, or ignore it. When you decide on a group, use Do the same with new ones to create a rule. With many pending devices, Accept the network as it is marks what is already there as known, so only new devices go to review. A default rule, which you can turn off, ignores devices with a private MAC, such as phones and laptops. Each filtered network can also be viewed on a map.
  • WhatsApp voice notes in Tickets: Movitera transcribes incoming audio messages. The transcript appears next to the audio, in the conversation and in attachments, and the technician can retry if it fails. AI triage now takes the transcript into account, and a ticket opened with audio only can get its title and description from it.
  • Known senders: WhatsApp or phone messages from people who are already users in the workspace no longer go to quarantine. When the conversation is not yet tied to a ticket, the message goes to the person's open ticket with the most recent activity on the same channel, or opens a new ticket.
  • Diagnose with Muse: on the device page and on assets linked to a ticket, open a Muse conversation about that machine. Muse starts from what Movitera already knows, such as free disk space and disk health, antivirus detections, software risks, and remote actions already run, plus installed programs when you ask about them, and lists what it checked. It runs nothing on the device and can offer the diagnosis as a technical note on the ticket.
  • Live monitor in remote actions: on the device's Remote actions tab, open Monitor to see CPU and memory charts for the last two minutes, how long the computer has been on, and the busiest processes.
  • Link managed by your company: in Settings › Link, turn on Require start with system. The app then shows that it is managed by your company, and the user cannot turn off automatic start from the app. On Windows, the Link service reopens the app if it is ended from Task Manager or crashes, up to five times an hour. Quitting from the app's menu keeps it closed until the next sign-in. The device page shows when the user closed the app and when it was reopened automatically.
  • Endpoint protection (EDR) and backup: connect Bitdefender GravityZone and Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud in Settings › Integrations. The device Security tab shows the protection agent status, detections from the last 30 days, and the state of each backup. In the device list, use the No EDR, No backup, and Backup overdue filters. In Settings › Link, open tickets automatically for security incidents and for failed or overdue backups. This feature is rolling out gradually.
  • Devices by customer: on MSP teams, filter and export the device list by customer. Select several devices and use Assign customer, with a suggestion from the linked asset, or edit the customer on the device page. Generate connection codes for a customer, including codes that can be reused on several computers, with an optional use limit. Customer members see only their own company's devices. In the customer form, a valid CNPJ fills in the legal name and name without overwriting what you typed.
  • Projects Releases: set on initiatives and issues whether the work appears in the release: Show, Internal only, Not yet, or Never show. Group new deliveries by initiative, domain, repository, or layer and track what is held in Waiting for release. Admins and managers can record a release without generating notes. Each release gets its own page, with the exact period, who created it, its documents, and the items included.
  • Group types in pickers: when you pick a group in Tickets, Vault, or the Wiki, groups are sectioned by type, such as Branch and Department, so they no longer get mixed up. Lists show the type next to the name, such as Group · Branch. Teams without group types see no change.
  • Leave a workspace: leave from the workspace switcher or in Settings › Team. Before you confirm, see how many open tickets you still have in that workspace. You cannot leave if you are the last admin, hold the last paid seat, or hold the last Full seat of a team with Link devices.
  • Mobile app: create issues with the + button in Trabalho (Work) and choose the ticket category from a list with icons. In Vault, the Autenticador screen shows the codes for your accounts and adds new ones by QR code or setup key. On ticket and issue pages, long runs of system events are folded into one row you can open. Comments and attachments stay visible.

October 1-5, 2026

The week's highlightsSound on
  • Muse: pin conversations to keep them at the top in the Pinned section. Organize the list by recent activity or date and read a preview below each title. The sidebar also has a shortcut to open Muse without choosing a conversation. Sending a message moves that conversation to the top of the list.
  • Vault Extension: credential names now use the full available width and wrap onto another line when needed. Type a few characters in the extension search to find logins for the current site and other sites. The extension asks for confirmation before filling a credential on a different site.
  • Vault password health: ignore a warning from the credential preview or the list when you cannot address it yet. The password remains flagged as a risk and appears in Ignored. The warning returns if the password changes or appears in a new breach. You can undo this action at any time.
  • Link and Inventory: the notice "App closed · service online" means the Windows service is still checking in, but the Link app is not running. It appears below the device's last check-in, with guidance to open Link and configure it to start with the system.
  • Status: configure an HTTP monitor to open a Closure ticket when it confirms an outage and complete the ticket when service recovers. The two options are independent and off by default. Monitor details show the linked ticket's status and any automation errors.
  • Closure dashboard: use Export PDF to download a report for the selected period. The file includes filters, metrics, and charts in A4 landscape format.
  • Closure and Tasks: when creating a ticket, use the calendar button at the bottom to choose a future date and time. Scheduled tickets do not yet support attachments. You can book and manage appointments on existing tickets. Completing an appointment records the outcome without closing the ticket or changing its SLA. Task reminders open that occurrence's details in the app, including instructions, assignees, outcome, linked ticket, and completion actions.
  • Requester assets: when creating a ticket, the affected-assets field shows suggested assets assigned to the requester first, followed by the full list. Suggestions also account for responsibility for Link devices. If there is only one assigned asset in use, Closure can suggest it automatically on web and mobile. You can remove or replace the suggestion.
  • Triage language: your Profile language preference is now saved to your account as well as the browser. If Closure triage cannot identify the language from the ticket conversation, it uses the requester's saved language to ask for missing information and fill the Triage panel. If that preference is unavailable, it uses the team language.
  • Forge Designs: the In review status sits between In progress and Ready. It has its own board column and is also available in filters, design creation, previews, and details.
  • Unified Inbox: open a design update to read the full content in the pane, with the new comment highlighted. Mark as done removes the update from Inbox, but you continue following the design and receive future updates. Ticket and issue reminders, including on-hold, stalled solution, and triage reminders, now open the corresponding record in Inbox and on mobile.
  • Forge Releases: the new page appears after Cycles in the navigation. Choose a period and write release notes in the team language. Each delivered issue or pull request appears in only one release. You can also open Releases from an active or completed cycle, with the dates already filled in and the notes window open. This replaces the separate delivery brief.
  • Forge issues: group the board and list by assignee, with a photo, name, and issue count. Unassigned appears last. On the board, drag an issue into another person's group to change its assignee. Issues with open impediments show a blocked indicator on the board and in the list. Use the Blocked filter with Yes or No to show or hide them.
  • Sentry integration: set a default assignee and repository for each linked project. When a project has no specific setting, the integration defaults apply.
  • Link remote sessions: up to four technicians can join the same session. Invite colleagues, accept or decline requests to join, and hand over or take back control. Anyone without control can watch the screen without sending input. You can also link a ticket. At the end, participating technicians can rate quality from 1 to 5 stars and leave a comment. Ratings below 5 stars trigger collection of session diagnostics from the remote computer. Video, reconnection, and resolution adjustment improvements are enabled for every team.
  • Windows device security: the Security tab brings together antivirus and firewall products registered with Windows Security Center, Windows Firewall status for each profile, Microsoft Defender status, and its recent detections. Use list filters to find machines without working antivirus or with recent detections.
  • Forge cycles: the activity list now identifies who made each change, including who created issues directly in a cycle or deleted a cycle. These actions no longer appear under the generic name "Someone".
  • Muse MCP: when connecting ChatGPT or another compatible MCP client, you can authorize write access as well as read access. Permissions are defined per tool, with clearer descriptions of the available actions. Reconnect the client after this update to see the write option.
  • Mobile app: Inbox, Trabalho (Work), Wiki, and Vault are in the main navigation. Open settings from your profile photo. Work brings tickets and issues together in a filtered list. Status icons and priority bars follow the web layout. Ticket and issue pages show properties, descriptions, attachments, and activity on one screen, with the reply box always accessible. You can change status and priority or assign work to yourself when you have permission.
  • Wiki, Vault, and mobile notifications: anyone with Wiki access on the web can also use it in the app. In Vault, view automatically refreshed authenticator codes, add or change two-factor authentication by QR code or setup key, and create Login and Note credentials with optional sharing. Tapping a notification opens the corresponding ticket, issue, or task occurrence.
  • Link remote actions on Windows: the feature is off by default. Admins can enable it for the workspace and allow devices individually or in bulk in Settings › Link › Remote actions. The page shows the number of allowed devices and lets you search, select, and choose whether actions can run as the user or the system. If a change fails, the device stays selected and shows the reason. A team admin grants the script operator role.
  • Monitoring, scripts, and software through Link: in the Remote actions tab, script operators monitor CPU, memory, and processes in real time. They can end processes except protected system processes, run one-off PowerShell scripts or saved scripts with version history, install software through WinGet or approved MSI/EXE installers, and uninstall MSI packages. Before running an action, review the script or installer, target devices, parameters, timeout, and execution account.
  • Remote action history: in Inventory › Remote actions, follow results in real time, cancel or rerun actions, and use the script library to run scripts on multiple devices. The page also lets you upload and approve installers. Runs are recorded in device History and the workspace audit log.
  • Inventory device filters: combine conditions such as status, Link state, assignee, operating system, and time offline with security and hardware data. Filters include encryption, antivirus, detections, drive health, TPM, Secure Boot, memory, cores, disk, chassis, manufacturer, model, uptime, last check-in, agent version, and enrollment date. Save personal views, share filters by link, or use Offline 30+ days and Security risks. The assignee filter also supports Me.
  • Inventory item filters: the list shows 25 items per page and the total result count. Combine filters for status, category, assignee, location, condition, linked device, supplier, customer, purchase date, make, and model. You can also filter for warranties expiring within a chosen number of days. Save views, share filters by link, or use Warranty expiring, which covers the next 90 days, and In stock.
  • Inventory CSV export: use the spreadsheet button in Devices or Items to export all results, including other pages. The file respects your current filters, view, search, and sort order. It includes names instead of identifiers, headers in your language, and dates in the team's time zone, in an Excel-compatible format.
  • Wiki editing protection: if a page changes while you are editing an older version, Wiki prevents your text from overwriting the latest version. The page becomes read-only and offers options to load the current version, copy your text, or open Recent changes. When you return to a tab, Wiki checks for a newer version. This protection also covers edits made on another device, by colleagues, or through Muse and MCP clients.
  • Wiki Recent changes: open the page menu to review previous versions from the past 30 days. Each version shows who made the change, when it was made, and what differs from the current text. Anyone who can edit the page can restore any of these versions.
  • Hardware data for Muse: read installed and available RAM, processor model and core count, and total and free space on the system disk. Available memory refreshes every few minutes. Muse and MCP clients can sort devices by these fields to answer questions such as which machines in use have the least free memory. Existing devices receive data from their latest inventory automatically.
