Use Movitera® Vault in the browser

The Movitera Vault extension fills Vault credentials in the current tab, captures new logins after submit, and generates TOTP codes locally when the credential has 2FA.

First use

Connect this browser to Movitera®

The Conectar ao Movitera (Connect to Movitera) button opens secure authorization and creates a temporary browser session.

Main task

Autofill a saved login

Use the field badge, the extension popup, or Cmd + Enter / Ctrl + Enter.

What the extension does

  • Fetches Vault LOGIN credentials that match the origin of the current tab.
  • Fills username, password, and TOTP when the form has matching fields.
  • Shows Salvar login no Movitera? (Save login in Movitera?) after capturing a password submit.
  • Keeps you signed in for this session and ends it on lock or when you close the browser.

Recommended flow

  1. 1

    Install the extension in a Chromium browser.

    The extension is tested for Chrome. Use the install link provided by Movitera or your workspace admin.

  2. 2

    Connect the extension to Movitera®.

    Click the extension icon, then Conectar ao Movitera (Connect to Movitera). Authorize the session in the tab that opens.

    The popup returns to the Connected state and shows the available workspace.

    Open a site with a saved credential.

    The extension compares the tab origin with the credential URLs in Vault.

  4. 4

    Click `Preencher` (Fill).

    Use the field badge, the popup row, or Cmd + Enter / Ctrl + Enter.
