Movitera Link troubleshooting
Fixes for the most common install, connection, and sync problems.
macOS says it can't verify the app
Message: Movitera Link can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
Cause: macOS put the download in quarantine. Fix: right-click the app in Applications, choose Open, and confirm with Open.

Cause: the .msi installer isn't signed yet in this version. Fix: in the SmartScreen warning, click More info, then Run anyway.
I can't connect my account
- Each login request is valid for 5 minutes — after that the browser shows
Esta solicitação de login expirou(This login request has expired). ClickContinue in browseragain to restart. - If the page doesn't open, check your default browser and try again.
- On networks with a proxy, configure the proxy in Settings before connecting.
The browser says you can't register devices
Message: Você não pode cadastrar dispositivos (You can't register devices) when approving the connection in the browser.
Cause: your account doesn't have the required inventory permission on the selected team. Fix: ask the team's administrator to grant your Inventory access, then click Continue in browser again. If the Time (Team) field on the authorization page is empty, your account has no Inventory access on any team.
The app isn't syncing
- Check that collection isn't paused in Settings (
Pause collection). - Confirm the computer is online.
- Click
Syncto force an upload and see if there's an error.
Send logs to support
In Settings, open Logs and click Export logs to generate a file you can attach when contacting support.
Reinstall from scratch
Disconnect (Logout), uninstall the app, delete the ~/.movitera-link folder, and install the latest version from the download page. You'll connect the computer again.
