What the authorization screen shows

The Conectar este dispositivo à Movitera (Connect this device to Movitera) page sums up what you're authorizing before you confirm. It states that Movitera Link wants to report this device's inventory data and shows:

  • Dispositivo (Device) — the computer's name, OS, and architecture, so you can confirm it's the right machine.
  • Time (Team) — the company that will receive the inventory. Only the teams where you have Inventory access are listed.
  • Nome do dispositivo (Device name) — how the computer will appear in the company's inventory. It's pre-filled with the machine's name; adjust it if you want.
  • Expira em (Expires in) — how long the connection lasts: 90 dias (90 days), 1 ano (1 year, the default), or 2 anos (2 years). The Nunca expira (Never expires) option is shown only to the team's inventory managers.

The page itself bounds the access: inventory data includes installed software, hardware specs, and connected peripherals — Movitera Link doesn't access your vault credentials.

Click Autorizar (Authorize) to finish, or Cancelar (Cancel) to decline. If the page asks, confirm your identity with your second factor — the authorization continues on its own after you confirm.

After connecting

  • Movitera Link starts with the computer from now on.
  • The inventory is sent automatically in the background.
  • The computer appears to your team in Inventory → Devices, with the time of the last signal.
  • You can pause collection or disconnect at any time in Settings.

Connection expired?

Each request is valid for 5 minutes. After that, the browser shows Esta solicitação de login expirou (This login request has expired) — go back to the app and click Continue in browser again.

Revoke the access afterwards

Whoever manages the inventory can cut a connected computer's access at any time, in Inventory → Devices in Movitera®.

  1. 1

Find the computer in the device list.

Search for the device name set during authorization.

  2. 2

In the row's menu, click `Revogar acesso` (Revoke access).

On the device's page, the equivalent button is Revogar (Revoke).

  3. 3

Confirm in `Revogar dispositivo?` (Revoke device?).

    This can't be undone.

    result
The computer stops sending inventory and Movitera Link asks to connect again.

The connection also appears as a token with the Agente (Agent) chip in the vault access tokens. To use the computer again, connect it again from the app.
