Create team password patterns

Standardize your team's password format — for example, "4 uppercase letters + 4 numbers" — by creating a reusable pattern in the Password generator.

Team patterns and personal patterns

  • Padrões do time (team patterns) — visible to the whole team. Only Vault managers create, edit, and remove them.
  • Meus padrões (my patterns) — visible only to you. Anyone creates their own.

Create the pattern

  1. 1

    Open `Password generator` and go to the `Presets` tab.

    Scroll to Padrões do time (team patterns, for managers) or Meus padrões (my patterns) and click Criar padrão (create pattern).

    Give the pattern a `Nome` (name).

    For example, "Numeric PIN" or "Server password".

    Build the `Segmentos` (segments).

    Each segment is a character type (Maiúsculas, Minúsculas, Números, Símbolos, or Alfanumérico — uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols, or alphanumeric) and a count. Use Adicionar segmento (add segment) to chain blocks, and check the result in the Preview.

    Click `Salvar padrão` (save pattern).

    Toast "Padrão de senha criado com sucesso" (password pattern created) — the pattern appears in the Presets tab, ready to select.

Edit or remove a pattern

Hover over the saved pattern: the pencil icon opens Editar padrão de senha (edit password pattern — name, description, and segments) and the X removes the pattern.

Removing asks for no confirmation

One click on the X removes the pattern immediately, with no confirmation dialog. If it is a team pattern, it disappears for the whole team. To recover it, create the pattern again.
