Tasks troubleshooting
The most common Tasks problems and how to fix each one.
A task doesn't appear in `Today`
Cause: the task isn't due today — or it is on the screen, in a section that's easy to miss. Today shows every team task due today, not only yours.
- Check in
Activitiesthe days and times the task is due. - A one-time task past its date sits in the
Atrasadas(overdue) section, at the top of the list. - Saturday and Sunday tasks sit in the collapsed
Tarefas do fim de semana(weekend tasks) section at the bottom of the page — on weekdays only. - The message
Tudo pronto! Todas as atividades de hoje foram registradas.(All set! All of today's activities have been logged.) also appears when the team has no tasks created at all. In that case, create the first one.
I can't confirm a `NOK` record
Cause: the message is required for NOK — the Confirm button stays disabled until you type something. The dialog is currently in English, titled Add Failure Message.
- Describe in the message field what went wrong.
- Click
Confirm— the record saves with theRegistro salvo(record saved) toast.
I created from the text bar and the task came out `Pontual` (one-time)
Cause: text creation only produces Pontual (one-time) tasks — sentences like "toda segunda" (every Monday) don't generate a routine.
- For routines, use
Adicionar tarefa(Add task) inActivitiesand selectRecorrente(recurring) — see Create a task. - To keep the task you created, edit it and switch the
Frequência(frequency) toRecorrente.
The reminder didn't arrive
Cause: the notice is off, the task has no assignees, or the time was interpreted in another time zone.
- Open
Editar tarefa(Edit task) and check the switches in theNotificações por e-mail(email notifications) section — see Set up reminders. - Confirm the task has
Responsáveis(assignees) — with no assignees, no reminder is sent. - Remember that sending is processed every 5 minutes (accurate to about 5 minutes) and follows the team's time zone, not your local one.
- Check the
Alertas(alerts) tab of the details panel:Notificações recentes(recent notifications) lists what has already been sent.
Reliability is low for no reason
Cause: days with no record. Times with neither OK nor NOK weigh against Confiab. 30d (30-day reliability) as much as a NOK.
- Log every day, even a
NOK, so the number reflects reality. - Find the days with no record in
History(dashedPendentechips) or in theÚltimos 12 meses(last 12 months) map of the details panel.
I deleted a task by accident
Cause: Excluir (Delete), in the ⋯ menu in Activities, deletes immediately — there is no confirmation dialog and no undo.
- Recreate the task with
Adicionar tarefa(Add task), redoing the frequency, times, and assignees — see Create a task. - Turn the reminders back on in the
Notificações por e-mail(email notifications) section.
I can't find the `N/A` button
Cause: the N/A status appears in counters and legends, but the product currently has no action to mark it.
- Log
OKorNOKwith a note explaining that the time didn't apply. - If the task shouldn't be due that day, adjust its days and times.
I need to fix a record from days ago
Cause: only records from today (and the coming weekend, through the Tarefas do fim de semana (weekend tasks) section) can be changed. The Histórico (history) tab of the details panel is read-only.
- Fix it on the same day, while the record is in
Today— see Fix a record. - Records from earlier days can't be changed in the product.
The times I typed vanished from the preview
Cause: the Horários específicos (opcional) (specific times, optional) field accepts times in HH:MM format separated by commas — entries outside the format are ignored without warning.
- Rewrite as
08:00, 16:00— two digits for hour and minute, a comma between times. - Check the
Próximas 3 ocorrências(next 3 occurrences) panel: with the right format, the times appear on the calculated dates. - Leaving it blank is also valid — the task counts for any time on the selected days.
`Não foi possível carregar as tarefas.` (Could not load tasks)
Cause: the Today screen couldn't fetch the data — usually a connection hiccup.
- Click
Tentar novamente(try again) — the page fully reloads. - If it persists, check your connection and try again in a few minutes.
Tasks doesn't appear in the app menu
Cause: the module isn't in the team's plan or your access hasn't been granted — see Who can use Tasks.
- Check with whoever manages the team that the plan includes Tasks — see Upgrade the team.
- Ask for your module access to be granted in the team settings.
