Organize pages into folders

Folders group pages inside a space and accept subfolders. Pages don't sit inside other pages — the hierarchy is built with folders.

Create a folder

  1. 1

Open the space and click `Nova pasta` (New folder).

The folder is created on the spot, named Nova pasta — there is no naming dialog. Inside a folder, the same button creates a subfolder. In the sidebar tree, the space's menu also has Nova pasta — there, you type the name before creating.

  2. 2

Rename it in the sidebar tree: hover over the folder, open `⋯`, and choose `Renomear` (Rename).

Type the new name and press Enter. The tree is the only place to rename — the folder's page has no such option.

    result
The folder appears with the new name in the tree and in the space's PASTAS section.

Add content to the folder

Open the folder and use Nova página (New page) or Nova pasta at the top. The full path appears as a breadcrumb above the name. To bring existing pages into the folder, drag them in the sidebar tree — see Move and reorder pages and folders.

Restrict a folder

Folders can have restricted access, and the restriction applies to every subfolder and page inside. The Visibilidade desta pasta (This folder's visibility) card, at the bottom of the folder's page, shows the current state. See Restrict spaces, folders, and pages.

Delete a folder

  1. 1

In the tree, open the folder's `⋯`, choose `Excluir` (Delete), and confirm with `Excluir pasta` (Delete folder).

Deleting a folder removes its pages

All pages and subfolders inside the folder are removed with it, for good. Move what you want to keep before deleting.
