Wiki access roles

Every team member has a Wiki role, set in the Acesso ao Wiki (Wiki access) field of member management. The role determines what the person can do across the whole module; restrictions per space, folder, or page limit access to specific content.

The four roles

RoleWhat it can do
Administrador (Administrator)Everything: creates and manages spaces, sets permissions, accesses Imagens (Images) and Configurações (Settings). Sees all content, even restricted content.
EditorCreates, edits, moves, archives, and deletes pages and folders — wherever they have edit access. Doesn't manage spaces, permissions, Imagens, or Configurações.
Visualizador (Viewer)Reads pages and checks the revision history. Sees no create or edit buttons.
Sem acesso (No access)Can't access the Wiki.

Where the role is set

Whoever administers the team sets each member's role in the Acesso ao Wiki field, in member management. The module's availability itself comes from the team's plan — see plans and upgrades.

Role and restrictions combine

  • Restrictions apply on top of the role: an Editor can't edit content restricted to other people — see Restrict spaces, folders, and pages.
  • The opposite happens too: a Pode editar (Can edit) permission on a folder lets even a Visualizador (Viewer) create and edit inside that folder.
  • Administrador ignores restrictions — always sees and edits everything.
