Generate release notes

From a completed cycle, Forge generates a release-notes draft in the Wiki — with the cycle's highlights in technical language, customer-facing language, or both.

Before you start

  • The cycle must be Concluído (Completed) — the button doesn't appear on active or upcoming cycles.
  • You need permission to edit pages in the Wiki — see Wiki permissions. That access doesn't depend on your Forge role.

Generate the notes

  1. 1

    Open the completed cycle and click `Gerar notas de release` (Generate release notes).

  2. 2

    Choose where the page is born.

    Espaço (Space) sets the Wiki space. Pasta (Folder) is optional — the default is “Raiz do espaço” (Space root). Título (Title) is optional — left blank, the title suggested by the agent is used.

  3. 3

    Set the `Público` (Audience).

    Interno (Internal) brings technical detail with issues, initiatives, and assignees. Cliente (Customer) uses language aimed at the end user, with no internal jargon. Check both and the page comes out with the two sections.

  4. 4

    Click `Gerar notas` (Generate notes).

    Generation takes 5 to 20 seconds.
