Configure Movitera Link collection

On the Movitera Link page you decide what the agents collect — network discovery, logged-in user, installed apps — and whether remote control is available. Changes apply to the whole team and take effect at each agent's next sync.

Adjust the settings

    Open `Movitera Link` in the Inventory sidebar.

    The page appears in the navigation only for members with Gerenciador (Manager) access.

    Configure network discovery.

    Descoberta ativada (Discovery enabled) turns the feature on and off. The Modo de descoberta (Discovery mode) sets the behavior: Passivo (Passive) watches the traffic already flowing through the network; Ativo (Active) probes the subnet for devices; Ambos (Both) combines the two. Also adjust the Intervalo de varredura (segundos) (Scan interval, in seconds). The results appear in Discovery.

    Decide whether the logged-in user appears.

    The Mostrar o usuário logado no dispositivo no Inventory (Show the device's logged-in user in Inventory) switch controls the user column in the device lists. When off, the agents stop reporting who is logged in.

    Turn on installed-app collection, if you want it.

    Coletar inventário de aplicativos instalados (Collect installed app inventory) is opt-in, because package lists can be large and sensitive. The Intervalo de coleta (segundos) (Collection interval, in seconds) is daily by default (86400). Without this collection, the devices' Software tab, software risk, and the license and compliance reports stay empty.

    Enable remote control, if policy allows.

    Permitir controle remoto dos dispositivos (Allow remote control of devices) is off by default. With it on, Exigir consentimento do usuário (Require user consent) asks for explicit approval on every session, and Permitir sessões não assistidas (Allow unattended sessions) authorizes sessions with nobody at the machine — a sensitive, audited setting.

    Click `Salvar configurações` (Save settings).

    Each section confirms with a toast — for example, "Configurações de descoberta atualizadas." (discovery settings updated).

Unattended sessions deserve caution

Permitir sessões não assistidas (Allow unattended sessions) skips approval from whoever is at the machine. Keep it off unless the team's policy requires it — every session is audited.
