Who can do what in Inventory
Inventory access is set per member, in two independent permissions: Acesso ao Inventário (Inventory access) and Controle remoto (Link) (Remote control). A team administrator sets them, in each member's permissions dialog — see Manage members.
The two scopes
| Permission | Levels | What they unlock |
|---|---|---|
Acesso ao Inventário (Inventory access) | Sem acesso (No access) · Usuário (User) · Gerenciador (Manager) | Sem acesso: Inventory doesn't appear in the app switcher. Usuário: sees and uses Items, Devices, Discovery, Software risk, Licenses, Locations, and Categories, without the management actions. Gerenciador: everything from User, plus the actions in the table below. |
Controle remoto (Link) (Remote control) | Sem acesso (No access) · Operador remoto (Remote operator) | Operador remoto sees the Controle remoto (Remote control) button and opens remote desktop sessions. It's independent from the inventory scope — a Manager without this scope can't open sessions. |
Actions that require Manager
- Seeing the
Movitera LinkandImportspages — they don't even appear in the navigation for everyone else. - Linking, registering from a device, and unlinking — see Link a device to an asset.
Atribuir colaborador(Assign teammate) andRevogar acesso(Revoke access) on a device.- Creating categories.
- Finding triage,
Permitir este software(Allow this software), and the Policy tab in Software risk.
Buttons disappear, they don't lock
For members with Usuário (User) access, management actions don't appear — no padlock, no notice. If a button documented here doesn't exist on your screen, the reason is almost always the access level: ask a team administrator for the change in Settings → Members.
